Based on Art. 95, para. 1 of the Environmental Protection Act (SG 91/2002, as amended), Art. 31 of the Law on Biological Diversity, and following the investment process, the concessionaire “ROC 2023” EOOD has submitted a request to assess the need for an EIA for the investment intention “Opening a quarry for the extraction of underground resources – building materials” from the “Belite Kamani” deposit in the land of the town of Suvorovo and drawing up a project for a specialized detailed development plan for the “Belite kamani” concession area for part of the PI with identifier 70175.117.68 and part of the PI with identifier 70175.117.36 in the land of the town of Suvorovo.
After processing the mined raw material in the crushing and sorting plant, which will be installed at the quarry, different types of fractions with applications in road and conventional construction will be offered as a finished product. According to European standards, the sizes of the fractions produced by the quarry “Belite Kamani” should be as follows: 0/4 mm; 4/12.5mm; 12.5/16mm; 61/31.5 mm.
