The project includes two main stages – strengthening of landslide and shore fortification, and reconstruction and modernization of Chaika fishing port and technical infrastructure for port needs.
The first stage includes the following sub-sites: a 673 m long coastal embankment, a 37.5 m long coastal embankment facility 1, landslide protection, and repair and restoration works of an existing fenced mall.
The implementation of the first stage will cost about BGN 5 million, provided by the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works. After the completion of the project, the capacity of the port will increase to 400 berths.
The executor of the project is “Hydrostroy” AD.
