The project “Improvement, upgrade, and reconstruction of infrastructure in an area with potential for economic development in the city of Dobrich” is part of the Investment Program for the implementation of the Integrated Plan for Urban Reconstruction and Development. The goal of the project is to increase accessibility, interconnection, and convergence within the area of the city of Dobrich and its periphery. The project includes the reconstruction and rehabilitation of two sections of “6th September” Street:
– “6th September” street – south with a length of 828.42 m, dimensions: traffic lanes -10.5 to 8 m. and sidewalks from 1.5 to 4.5 m;
– “6th September” street – north with a length of 179.44 m, gauge lanes for traffic 8 m and sidewalks from 3 to 1.5 m and a deviation to “Dobrudzhanski hlab” AD – with a length of 137.33 m, gauge lanes for movement 6m. and sidewalks 2 x 1.5 m.
As a result of the activity, two sections of “6th September” street and a diversion were reconstructed and rehabilitated: roadway – 8540 sq.m. and sidewalks – 3702 sq.m. Road signs and markings have been installed, a new optical network – telecommunications connectivity – has been built and the street lighting has been replaced with energy-efficient ones.
