The main goal of the project is to improve the physical and living environment in the municipal center of the city as a prerequisite for ensuring a sustainable and ecological urban environment with a higher quality of life and achieving sustainable socio-economic development.
Under the project, complete reconstruction and modernization of the pedestrian area of Varna were carried out, including pedestrian pavements, bicycle lanes, color layout, artistic lighting, appropriate elements of urban design – small architectural forms, directional signs, energy-saving street lighting, various forms of urban landscaping, a complete irrigation system has been built (for the main and additional objects of intervention), and an accessible architectural environment was created.
