The Gabrovo bypass is part of the Trans-European Transport Corridor No. IX Bucharest – Ruse – Dimitrovgrad – Alexandroupolis and is a hub for the movement of transport flows in the North – South direction.

• Ruse – Veliko Tarnovo – Shipka – Stara Zagora – Svilengrad (Makaza)
• Oryahovo – Sevlievo – Shipka – Stara Zagora – Svilengrad (Makaza).
