Reconstruction of a bridge over the Marash River on road I-7 Shumen – Yambol – Granitovo – Lesovo at km 228+681
The project is funded by the United States Armed Forces, under a Technical Agreement between the Road Infrastructure Agency, the Department of Defense, and the US European Command.
The facility is not far from the “Novo Selo” training ground. With the execution of the construction works, the arch of the bridge was strengthened, and new railings, a safety fence, and a protective covering of the exposed concrete surfaces were installed. The pavement blocks have also been reconstructed for the bridge to be used for the passage of military equipment.
